Brendon is a born and bred Southlander and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1998. His previous management roles have included office systems, information technology and human resource responsibilities.
Brendon has been passionate about sport from a young age. He was a Southland age group representative in both rugby and athletics, a New Zealand U18 Triple Jump Champion, and part of Star's winning Galbraith Shield team in 1999.
Brendon is now actively involved in Multisport having completed two Kepler Challenges and Goldrush events in the past 3 years. Brendon is actively involved in the Southland Triathlon & Multisport Club committee having been treasurer for the past two years and is also responsible for the creation, development and maintenance of their website.
Brendon and his wife Donna have two children, Caleb and Seryn.
