Rose French (Active Families Co-ordinator)

Rose works as an Active Families coordinator focused on helping the young people of Southland and their families improve their day to day living for better health.

Rose has returned home to Invercargill after completing a double degree - Bachelor of Physical Education (majoring in Sport and Leisure Studies) and a Bachelor of Science (majoring in Psychology) at the University of Otago.

Rose is passionate about any kind of activity or sport but has a keen eye on Rowing. After competitively rowing herself for seven years in Southland, Otago and Central Otago, Rose now coaches at Southland Girls High School and the Waihopai Rowing Club.
