Susie gained a Bachelor of Recreation Management at Lincoln University in 1999. Since graduating, she has worked as Regional Manager for Touch Southland and Development Officer for the Southland Basketball Association. She has also worked at Arthritis New Zealand and has gained valuable experience in assisting those with Arthritis to manage their symptoms.
Susie has represented Canterbury in Cricket, Basketball and Rugby and Southland in Basketball. She also enjoys playing Touch, Wheelchair Basketball, Cycling and taking part in Yoga and Pilates classes.
