Sport Southland's Board of Trustees has the skills, qualifications, knowledge, and experience essential for effective governance of our regional sports trust; and reflects the geographic areas and communities of interest which it serves.
Our Trust Deed provides for a maximum of six appointed trustees and two co-opted trustees.
The Board prides itself on being ‘connected’ and ‘responsive’ to the community’s needs and encourages feedback from within the sector through the management or the Board Chair. Our trustees are well-known for their passion and commitment to sport and physical activity and aim always to ‘walk the talk’.
