Ward Wilson Team Up!

The Challenge is now out to all other organisations in Southland to Push Play! Ward Wilson Business Advisors have recently signed up a massive 50 out of 60 employees to take part in this year’s Push Play Tour of Southland Challenge. This Challenge is designed to get people more active, more often through the message of “30 minutes a day” by doing a virtual Tour of Southland. For every 30mins of moderate physical activity each team member does, counts towards their travel to the finish line.

Initially receiving the Push Play Tour of Southland Challenge through Sport Southland, Champion staff member, Raewyn Whyte saw an opportunity to promote the benefits of regular physical activity. Raewyn herself has seen the advantages of being regularly active through simply Pushing Play 30 minutes a day.

Nichola Morsink, CEO of Ward Wilson, has also witnessed the benefits first hand of her employees being active through regular physical activity. She describes the culture within the work place to be ‘energetic’ and ‘very proactive’, with members of the workplace taking the initiative to be a part of sporting groups and other events such as the Relay for Life 24-hour walk, Surf to City and Champagne in the Park. Both Nichola and Raewyn affirm “that if you have the energy and enthusiasm that can come from health and wellness, then you can pass that same energy and enthusiasm onto your clients”.

Ward Wilson has provided an incentive for each team within the organisation in the form of the coveted “Push Play Ward Wilson trophy”. Designed to provide friendly competition to motivate and encourage team members, the trophy will go to the most active team over the next 4 weeks. So all you other organisations, Push Play now. It’s never too late. The great news is that anything you do, even walking, can be good for you.
