FUN HEALTHY FAMILIES

'Healthy Me & You' is a free programme for parents/caregivers and children 3yrs or 4yrs old.

• Fun physical activity
• Food budget skills
• Free giveaways

A pilot of this programme was held in November - December 2007 with seven families from Invercargill and surrounds taking part.  Photos from this pilot can be viewed by  clicking here

Features of 'Healthy Me & You':

• Free & fun
• Transport is provided if needed
• Younger brothers and sisters can attend too - so there is no need to organise a babysitter
• A safe and fun environment for children (childcare assistance)
• Grocery or fuel vouchers are available if families complete a short interview, Fruit & Vege diary, and wear a pedometer (adult and child) for one week.
