Online Sessions

The Southland HEHA Workforce Development Programme was delivered in Invercargill, Takatimu, Hokonui, and Wakatipu from May to August 2007.

The participants targeted for this programme are people working in health and social service agencies around Southland.

The programme consists of four 3 hour sessions.  These sessions cover:

- The eight HEHA Key Population Health Messages
- Two modules in Cultural Sensitivity delivered by Makuini McKerchar
- An introduction to the skills of Motivational Interviewing

These topics are covered over the four sessions as follows:
