Entries on the day for the 5km run or walk will be received at Thompson's Bush until 30 minutes before event starts
Saturday 21 November 2009 5pm - 8pm at the Ascot Park Hotel, Racecourse Road.
Dick Tayler, Commonwealth Gold 10,000 gold medallist and previous three times winner of the Southland marathon will MC the evening. Guests will include current record holders John Campbell and Gabrielle O'Rourke. An evening to reminisce and motivate yourself for the following day.

Full distance marathoners will receive a complimentary commemorative anniversary finishers' t-shirt once they complete the marathon. Other competitors can order a t-shirt with their entry. T-shirts will be included with the race packs if ordered before the late entry cut off of event, 13 November. A final t-shirt order will be taken on the day of the event and posted after the event.
All finishers in the full 42km marathon will receive a 100th year commemorative medal.
