The 10km Recreational Run/Walk starts at 8.30am from the Whitehouse Hotel, Lorneville.

Please collect race packs from:
Ø Sport Southland, Stadium Southland Friday 20th (8.30am – 7.00pm) and Saturday 21st (10.00am – 3pm) November.
Ø Ascot Park Hotel (Saturday night meal venue) 4pm – 6pm
Ø At the start area on the day of the event between 7.45am – 8.15am
Ø Drinks available at approx 5km intervals and sponges available past each drink station. [Refer comprehensive Drink/First Aid/Toilet location map Website & Racepacks]
Ø Gear bags can be left on buses and will be returned to Invercargill Clubrooms – Surrey Park @ Stadium Southland.
Ø The briefing will be held 10mins prior to the event at the start.

- The race number must be worn on the front and must not have any part removed or disfigured.
- There are no road closures and entrants must obey all road safety rules.
- Entrants must follow instructions from marshals at all times.
- All entrants must attend the race briefing 10mins prior to race start.
- Runners will be started first, immediately followed by Walkers
- Walkers must not be more than 2 abreast
- Runners and Walkers must not be paced or accompanied by cyclists, vehicles or un-entered runners.
- Due to safety reasons, competitors/participants are prohibited from using these devices during the event.
Doors open and refreshments available from 12pm at the Ascot Park Hotel.
Prize giving starts at 2pm.
There will be merit prizes for the first three male and female runners to cross the finish line.
For the walk placings will be recorded but no merit prizes will be given.
All participants will be eligible for spot prizes, but must be present at the prizegiving.
