Our nominated UniGames accommodation partner, Invercarill i-Site & Visitor Information Centre will provide a “one-stop-shop” for all teams/individuals for the 2010 UniGames.
Invercargill i-Site are Southland’s largest dedicated accommodation booking agent and are familiar with the range of accommodation we are able to offer for the UniGames.
Kath Cook, the Manager of the i-Site has been an integral member of our local Hosting Bid team.
Having a single, central booking service will benefit team managers as the i-Site will:
• maintain a single register of availability/capacity across the full accommodation spectrum – alleviating the need for Team managers to have to explore their own options
• be able to offer price-banded options
• all the team have an excellent understanding accommodation types/standards
• all are familiar with the location of our sporting venues and the event hub at Stadium
Southland
i-Site staff assist in the staffing of the main information booth at UniGames HQ – at Stadium Southland.
