The New Zealand Academy of Sport South Island co-ordinates, manages and delivers high quality athlete and coach services, providing a world-class training and preparation environment to support high performance athletes across the South Island. Their vision is to see New Zealand athletes winning on the world stage.

The Invercargill Resource Centre is based at Sport Southland, and houses a range of different resources for coaches and athletes.

• Polar Heart Rate monitor (able to download data if requested)
• Lactate Tester (Strips also available at an extra cost)

• 2 Laptops (Imac & Aspire)
• 2 Computers with Internet Access & Software
• 'Beep Test' CD
• Firewire portable hard drive for video
• CD Writer
